Here I am going to review Optimum Nutrition gold standard 100% whey protein, This product is definitely one of the Market-Leaders and one of the most popular in the market as well .My opinion will be based on my personal experience and the experience of it's consumers, So that I can Bring the most clear Picture of the product for my readers. So This review will be based on the three categories which are:
I love the fact that it's mostly whey isolate, which means it's easy on the stomach,and if protein profile is considered it has one of the best protein profiles so far, there are three things which we consider before choosing any protein like Protein per scoop, BCAA per scoop and Glutamine.These three thing have plenty of room in it's profile and at the same time has a minimal amount of fat and carbs.Well, Extraction method is Ion Exchange, which is one of the best methods available today but few fractions of whey are lost in that method.So genuinely you will not have the complete whey protein spectrum in it.
Protein percentage is good that is (78.94)~79% (24 gram in 30.4 gram)
BCAA in one scoop 5.5 gram.
Glutamine in one scoop is ~4 gram
Well overall Protein profile is Excellent in Optimum Nutrition(ON) Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein and can be rated 9/10.
Protein Drinks Mixability 9.5/10 as It mixes even with a spoon in a glass of water but recommended with shaker(Mixes within 10 seconds)
Flavors are good Mocha Cappuccino is my favorite, Double Rich Chocolate is also good and other flavors are also not bad but not as good as above two. According to few other sources Coffee, Chocolate Mint, French Vanilla Creme, Cookies & Cream, Chocolate Malt, Strawberry Banana are also good.
The product(Optimum Nutrition(ON) Gold Standard 100% Whey) scores good in every field,even if it's protein profile it is Excellent, if it's Mixability and Flavors they are good too.Gains are acceptable, Easy on stomach, Pocket friendly prices(As ion exchange method is bit costlier so the price are).Some other websites give it the best available review and rating and actually it deserves that yes it deserve that, so overall product can be given Excellent grade and surely worth your every penny So definitely value for money Spent.

Great protein powder(Protein Shake) with great taste and mixability. Good review, You are right about it's profile and value evaluation, I am using it for last 6 months and gains and recovery are it's best features. It costs me much higher but for such results it's not a bad deal.
